Mission Showdown at Planning Commission Today
From BeyondChron, “Mission Gardens, a proposed Mission District housing project that was voted down by the San Francisco Planning Commission in 2002, might get the green light today after its would-be developer made concessions that earned him more community support. “I’ve been making adjustments and addressing concerns for a long time now,” said Agustin Rosas-Maxemin, President of ARMAX International. “I’m really hopeful the commission approves development.”
“Originally slated to feature 183 livable units and 26,000 square feet of combined retail/office space, new designs for the site at 1880 Mission St. include 194 dwelling units, no office space and only 8,536 square feet of retail space.”
