From today’s Examiner, “City officials are commissioning a first-of-its-kind comprehensive study to look at San Francisco’s economic present and future. The study will identify target industries to recruit, suggest strategies to retain existing wellpaying jobs and encourage small business creation. It will also study barriers to job creation and recommend ways to overcome them.”
“San Francisco has lost 85,000 jobs since 2000 when the flood of high-paying technology jobs began drying up.”
