Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven’t run away or been kidnapped… There just hasn’t been any good local real estate news out there to report…

Perhaps people are just fed-up with the rain, or perhaps the alternative weeklies (who supply me with what seems like endless fodder) are all focused on the immigrant’s rights legislation.

But while people are paying attention to other things, the real estate market is up and flying again.

In two open houses yesterday we had 160+ groups and 60+ groups (which is approximately 300 people and 100 people).

There are lots of strong, qualified buyers who are writing offers and buying homes. The numbers might not be what they were last year, but anyone who gets stuck in traffic in Noe Valley on a Sunday will tell you that this market is not dead. Not by a long shot.
