Debate heats up over 'Spontaneous' Events in SF

It’s a pity really, because it’s one of the things that makes San Francisco so uniquely, well…San Francisco. Having said that I understand the growing controversy. A $10,000 bill to clean up clogged drains from the 2009 Pillow fight – is no small expense, especially in this economic climate. I for one would hate to have been the one to clean up the mess from this pie fight – but on the flip side, imagine being a tourist walking down Market Street when this erupts – priceless.

…so in the spirit of ‘can’t we all just get along’, I hope one of the many ‘creatives’ that SF is so famous for comes up for a way to keep both the spontaneity and a responsible way to co-exist, because it would be a shame to lose them.
